Wes Fleming to visit Billabong Garden Complex

Wes will visit Billabong Garden Complex on Sunday, 3rd July at 10am. Trees are Fleming's passion and the Flemings family has been responsible for introducing many new fruiting and ornamental trees over four generations. Wes will provide you with entertaining and informative instruction on the planting, care and maintenance of your ornamentals, weepers and fruit trees. Wes will also introduce you to the Fleming's Top 10 trees and provide an overview of why they have been chosen in their Top 10. Bare rooted roses, weepers, fruit trees and ornamentals are now available.

Bare rooted plants are only available during winter while they are dormant and can be transplanted without damaging their root system.  Ornamentals, weepers and roses make the perfect feature in your garden and can add impact to a space that needs a lift.  Fruit trees also do this, but with the added bonus of fresh fruit!  During winter, Billabong will have a large range of bare rooted plants, including the popular Flemings varieties and their Top 10.  Stocks are limited purchase your trees now to avoid disappointment.

Wholesale Customers

Billabong now undertakes a monthly wholesale run to the Northern Country area of Victoria including Benalla, Cobram, Cohuna, Corowa, Echuca, Finley, Jerilderie, Kyabram, Tatura, Tocumwal, Yarrawonga and others.  Exotic and native plants for sale are grown or potted on site at Billabong Garden Complex and include the popular lines, as well as some exciting new licenced varieties.   Contact the Manager of Billabong, Steve on 03 5821 8632 if you would like your nursery to be called upon each month.

Billabong Garden Complex has moved to 295 Numurkah Road, Shepparton. We look forward to welcoming you to our amazing new Complex.

The new purpose built Complex has been designed to provide you with all you need to make your garden grow within pleasant surrounds and displays for ideas and inspiration.  The huge new indoor sales area is home to all you need t spray, prune and maintain your garden for healthy foliage, prolific flowering and bumper crops.  You will also be inspired by the outdoor room display and choose from our expansive range of homewares, gifts and garden furniture.  As soon as you step outside you will be welcomed by the wonderful sights and smells from the array of potted colour, herbs and seedlings.  Take a walk along the avenue of climbers and take in the ambience of the displays and water features while you browse the extensive range of exotic and native plants to suit all garden styles in varying sized pots from small tubes through to advanced trees and shrubs for instant gardens.

Or, while visiting treat yourself to great coffee, indulgent morning or afternoon tea and delicious light meals in the on-site Flying Muffin Cafe.

The Billabong Garden Complex opened in 2002 and has been developed for total community participation, not solely for disability activities, however it does have a dual purpose in that the employment of persons with a disability within the propagation nursery is fundamental to its existence.The propagation nursery supplies a large percentage of plants to the retail nursery and operates a native plant species program where by local native plant species are grown for farm plantings and revegetation programs.

Billabong is open 7 days per week from 9 am - 5 pm (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday).
