Members of the Client Representative group have the opportunity to obtain knowledge about standards and how they impact on themselves and fellow service users.
Participants within the group have the important job of representing other service users and have the opportunity to be involved as a representative on committees such as the Occupational Health & Safety and Quality review committees, along with the opportunity to chair a client meeting and plan client activities, such as the ConnectGV Christmas Party, social activities and the Having A Say Conference, among other activities. Through this group, members learn about personal health and wellbeing, self-esteem, self worth and build confidence and dignity.
