For more than 55 years ConnectGV has been educating the community about Ability rather than disability through participation in community activities such as supported employment in one of ConnectGV's.
Business Enterprises, the Billabong Garden Complex, Billabong Sweets & Treats, Good Looking Lawns, GV Ragz, Flower Power flower deliveries and the Mooroopna Primary School Canteen.
These innovative business enterprises have been developed in which to provide quality products and services, based on market demand, to the local community. Through these business enterprises supported employees have the opportunity work within their community and earn a wage. Working conditions are based on an Award and wages are determined by assessment of productivity against an award rate. Employees are supported to develop skills enabling to work across the various business enterprises should they wish to do so, or to enable them to seek mainstream employment.
