House Supervisor - Accommodation Services

About the role
The accommodation service is located in Shepparton and is currently the home for 5 people with a disability. The House Supervisor is responsible for the operational management of the supported accommodation service and ensures the day-to-day running of the service and provides full management support for staff, customers and families. The House Supervisor is also part of the rostered staff, and will work a range of hours that suits the management of the house.
This role will involve rostering, staff supervision and ensuring that customer documentation is kept up to date. This is a fantastic opportunity to for the right person to establish a career in disability services within a supportive team environment.
Essential to your success will be
Understanding of NDIS and legislation and standards applicable to the disability sector.
Knowledge and understanding of how to support staff to implement modern approaches that uphold the rights and support needs of people with disability.
Experience working with people with behaviours.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to manage financial and staff resources in a complex environment.
Excellent initiative and self-directed work practices as well as highly developed organisational skills.
A relevant disability qualification would be expected.
