Carolynne is a local woman whom completed both primary and secondary schooling in the Shepparton area. Post finishing VCE, she continued her studies, gaining a Bachelor of Applied Science at Deakin University. While studying her degree, she began working within residential facilities and over the years went on to become a Team Leader in both long and short term accommodation facilities for adults and children.

She spent ten years providing clinical support to people with a disability alongside a multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dual disability workers and behaviour support practitioners. Her clinical work has predominantly centered on complex trauma and identifying risk and protective factors through sound assessment practices, in order to support treatment outcomes for individuals on a case by case basis.
In 2009, Carolynne made the move from the public sector to the private sector. This move continued to build on her knowledge and understanding of disability supports within community service organisations. Over the years she has completed further studies to extend her knowledge and skill set in forensic disability, managing and developing teams, complex trauma and offending behaviour. She is a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Carolynne joined ConnectGV in January 2014, as Manager Future Directions.
