Meet The ConnectGV Board of Directors

Melissa Pace

2021 - present

Melissa graduated from Victoria University in 2017 with Honours in a Bachelor of Laws. Melissa completed her preadmission practical legal training with Leo Cussen Centre of Law. Melissa moved to the Goulburn Valley to join Camerons Lawyers at that time and has been working as Lawyer with the firm since admission. Melissa works predominantly in the areas of Property, Commercial and Wills.

Prior to joining Camerons Lawyers, Melissa was predominantly volunteering and interning with numerous not for profit organisations, including Sunshine Youth Legal Centre, Greensborough Community Legal Centre, State Trustees and Victorian Legal Aid, whilst concurrently undertaking her law degree and practical legal training.

Melissa joined the ConnectGV board in 2021 as she wanted to make a contribution to community, believing the work of the organisation and its community values in helping to support the local members with a disability and their families to be extremely important.  Melissa believes it is essential that all members of our community, including those with a disability, feel as though they belong to the GV community, which has welcomed her with open arms.  Melissa joined ConnectGV to be able to give back to the community, who has given her so much.

Melissa believes her professional experience and personal attributes contribute to the diversity and composition of the board, and that her background in law and experience as a Solicitor will enable her to bring a legal perspective to issues the board has to deal with.
